Our tableau vivant!

We've chosen a painting by Emilio Longoni (1894).

The title is emblematic "Riflessioni di un affamato" (Reflections of a starving man or social contrasts).

As we can't be there with you, we have decided to take some pictures trying to recreate the same setting.

It wasn't so hard, I can tell you it was fun!!!

... ... ... ... ...

And then...we went beyond the beyond, deciding to reinterpret the painting with a modern point of view!

Same setting...but... a contemporary context: two teenagers with their mobile phones, eating cookies and...a refugee watching them.

Nothing has changed!

Social contrasts still exist!
